Dusting off the Blog like an Old VCR

Oh, hey, it’s me again.

Do these still even appear in your inboxes?

I guess we’ll find out.

It’s been so long, that I literally had to think and guess on my login and then redo my payment information to get the Ole Blog up and running. They say birthing a baby births creativity, and boy am I feeling that. But while everyone says blogs are so 2010, I’m no VSCO girl, so I’m here instead of an email list.

I actually DO have SEVERAL email lists, but they’re all work related, (Our farm’s email list: here and Danielle Hayden Creative email list: here) and this blog feels like a cozy blanket and I’m wrapping myself in it in this new season.

Oh, you saw where I snuck in a baby and then breezed right past it?

Meet Laramie.

I’ve literally never been more proud of something I helped create in my life.

It was at this point in typing, my tiny sidekick decided he was hungry, and then resumed a short nap while I frantically brushed my teeth, started a load of laundry, reset the living room and then he needed his diaper changed and consoled and then I finally changed him out of his nightgown and into day clothes and then he was hungry again, fed and burped him and then we cuddled while listening to 90’s country AND then I realized I needed to mark our Market Wagon store out of stock for NY Strip Steaks and remembered I was planning to run a sale on Brisket. Now I need to answer client emails before baby decides it’s wake time again.

I’ve decided those that say “sleep when your baby sleeps” aren’t multiple small business owners.

Basically, all this to say, I’m back. Probably a little less wordy than in the past, because I’m very much adjusting to my new limited time schedule.

But this space feels right again for the first time in a very long time.

Thank you for being here for all these years. Let’s see what trouble we can get into now.

♥️
Danielle
