Boo-Ha-Ha and Bah-Hum-Bug

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!

I love Halloween, always have, always will.

This year marks my first Halloween from Middle-of-Corn, Kansas. It also marks the first Halloween in all my twenty-something years I have NOT dressed up as something.

I’m a little bummed about that, actually no, I’m really bummed about this. I considered going as a “stressed ag journalist worrying about an impending Beef Issue,” but that’s real life. No worries though, I’ll be back on my fishnet-glittered-costumed horse by next year, you can’t keep a good woman down! Or at least one who never matured past the age of six when it comes to celebrating holidays.

Last year I was a bubble bath… There was a Rubber Duck attached to my headband, it didn’t stick around for long. Rub-A-Dub-Dub!

Back to Halloween in Kansas…

I bought candy.Well if you’re going to have candy to hand out, you need a bucket. So naturally I decorated it…

Lets just pretend you can’t see Oliver and I’s reflection in the bucket…

And well the door needs to be decorated too!!

I love pumpkin… everything.

And to really get in the Halloween spirit, your house must smell like the Halloween spirit.

Did I mention I love pumpkin?

However, all my boo-ha-ha happiness has not rubbed off on Oliver.

Well if I can’t dress up, at least one of us in this house is going to be dressed up!

Maybe because it was 11 o’clock at night, maybe because I was chasing him around with a camera, or maybe because he was being the Scrooge to my Pre-Halloween festivities, but Oliver was not excited about this.

This face. Pathetic.

I think he’s trying to tell me something…and with that Happy Hallows Eve, have fun, and eat lots of candy!

From Middle-of-Corn, Kansas, pumpkin spice coffee in hand, this is Dani B. signing off. Until next time!

Thank you! It was super easy and super inexpensive to make! Just a little difficult to sit, and pointy objects made me cringe. 🙂 Hope you had a wonderful Halloween!
